12/9/24 – Please welcome Vapor! Vapor was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter. Once his respiratory infection clears up we will move forward with surgery then fast kill heartworm treatment.
1/2/25 – We attempted to do surgery today, but Vapor was having a hard time breathing so we decided to hold off on surgery for now and move forward with an ultrasound to see what all is going on with him.
1/6/25 – Vapor had his ultrasound today, and it looks like he has a blood clot. We will treat with medication for three weeks, repeat the ultrasound then decide our next steps for him.
1/29/25 – Vapor had his repeat ultrasound today and all looks good. He will have surgery tomorrow.
1/30/25 – Vapor had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his tonsils removed, his nares widened and his teeth cleaned.
3/4/25 – Vapor started his fast kill heartworm treatment today.
3/28/25 – Vapor completed his fast kil heartworm treatment today and has been cleared for adoption.
3/30/25 – Vapor has been adopted. Congrats Vapor, Roger and Brenda!
