Frank – May 14th, 2018

8/13/13: Please welcome Lucas! Lucas was dropped off at the shelter a few hours ago by his owners. They no longer want to take care of him and his special bullie needs. We were informed of him by the shelter and Erin was there within the hour to save him. She just handed him off to Heather and they are on their way to the vet. Thank you Erin and Heather for dropping everything and getting this guy to safety.

He needs to gain weight and have his skin infection treated, but for the most part appears to be otherwise healthy. Unfortunately, he was exposed to shelter bacteria, even for a few hours, and must stay in isolation for our mandatory two weeks.

We will keep you updated as we learn more about him. He will spend two weeks in shelter quarantine while Dr Ross addresses his medical needs.

Lucas is three years old and we are told he likes other dogs and kids. We do not know if he likes cats.

Update 9/6/13:  Lucas was neutered on Tuesday.  He was released from the vet this morning and adopted.  He gets to live with GEBR alum Bob!  Congrats Lucas and Gorsky family!

May 14, 2018:  Frank, formally known as Lucas, crossed over the rainbow bridge today.  Please keep his family in your thoughts. Rest In Peace Frank
