5/19/22 – Please welcome Duke Mayo! Duke Mayo is a five month old puppy that was turned over to us by his breeder. He was dropped a few months back and now has a limp. He will see the orthopedic specialist soon to see what, if anything, can be done.
5/24/22 – Duke Mayo saw the orthopedic specialist today. He has fractures of both forelimbs. Unfortunately, they have already healed enough that surgery to put the fragments back in their original position is no longer possible. We are told that in spite of the abnormality, most dogs with this condition (it is not uncommon) do relatively well with weight control, exercise modification, and medications as needed.
9/16/22 – Duke Mayo has been adopted!
