Birdie Rose

/14/22 – Please welcome Birdie Rose! Birdie Rose was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by a local shelter. She has been diagnosed with dry eye and will need prescription drops for life. She has a pretty bad skin infection as well as a tail pocket infection. We will treat with oral and topical medications but will plan to amputate her tail if we can not get the infection under control. Unfortinelty, she is also heartworm positive and will need to undergo fast kill heartworm treatment once she recovers from surgery.

/6/22 – Birdie Rose had her surgery and all went well. She was spayed, she had her tail amputated, she had her palate shortened, her saccules removed, her nares widened, and entropion surgery on both eyes. She will spend a few weeks in her foster home recovering from surgery before she starts her fast kill heartworm treatment.

/16/22 – Birdie Rose completed her heartworm treatment today.

/19/22 – Birdie Rose has been adopted.  Congrats Birdie Rose and Brimer family~
