Auddie

5/13/22 – Please welcome Auddie! Auddie was picked up as a stray and turned over to us as an emergency pick up. shelter believes she just delivered babies, but they were not found with her. The shelter told us that the finder said they found her in a park. They searched around that area to find a potential owner and puppies but didn’t find any.

5/14/22 – She is very sweet and loving all of the attention. She is not currently pregnant, we checked. From what we can tell she did have a c-section recently (within the last week).

5/24/22 – We we’re planning to wait 6-8 weeks for Auddie’s milk to dry up before moving forward with her spay surgery but she started having vaginal discharge today. We need to move forward with surgery tomorrow in case she has an infection from the C-section surgery or pyometra.

5/25/22 – We were able to do an ultrasound today to confirm Auddie does not have pyometra, so we are sticking with the original plan and will do spay surgery in a few weeks.

6/21/22 – We are treating Auddie for an ear infection and skin infection and she received a cytopoint shot for allergies. She will be spayed next week and cleared for adoption once she recovers from surgery.

6/30/22 – Auddie had surgery today and all went well! She was spayed, had her teeth cleaned, palate shortened, saccules removed and nares widened.

8/2/22 – Auddie has been adopted.  Congratulations Auddie and Claudia!
