10/20/14: Please welcome Winslow ! He is on his way to us from a Humane Society in Savannah. His owners no longer wanted him so they dropped him off at the Humane Society. Typically Humane Society’s will adopt out dogs to the public not turn them over to rescue. But once they learned he had ringworm they wanted him out or he was going to be put to sleep. Of course we agreed to take him into rescue. Ringworm is contagious to dogs and people. Our drivers, Brenda, Maureen and Darlene are being extra careful today!
He is already neutered and up to date on vaccinations. We are currently treating the ringworm.
He is three and a half years old. We are told he does not mind dogs or cats and that he has had plenty of interaction with children.
He will move into his foster home once his ringworm infection is cleared up.
Update 11/23/14: Winslow finished his ringworm treatment and moved into his foster home. He is ready for adoption.
Update 1/11/15: Winslow’s foster parents made it official! Congrats Winslow, Jessica and Joe!
