Wilson – January 2nd, 2019

5/12/17:  Please welcome Wilson!  His owners asked us to find him a more suitable home since they have a baby on the way and they do not feel he will do well with a baby.  Wilson is fairly stubborn and does not like to be told what he can and cannot do.  We are told he is also not overly warm and inviting with new people and and can be dominant and protective on his home and people.  He will need an owner willing and able to work with him on these things.  He is already neutered and up to date on his shots but he does need his palate shortened and he needs to drop a few pounds.

He is six years old.  He likes dogs and is fine around cats.  We do not think he would do best in a home with young children.

Update 7/18/17:  Wilson had a check up with Dr Rush.  He does need to have his palate shortened.  We are also treating a tail pocket infection.  If it does not clear up with his topical medication then we will do tail amputation surgery also.

Update 8/18/17:  Wilson had surgery today and all went well!  He had his tail amputated and he had his palate shortened.

January 2, 2019:  Wilson crossed over the rainbow bridge today.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Rest In Peace Wilson
