5/28/21 – Please welcome Waylon. Waylon was turned over to us by a friend of a rescue that got him from someone giving him away. His previous owner said he did not get along with their large dog. He needs to be neutered, have a cherry eye corrected and have airway surgery. He has been diagnosed with dry eye.
6/2/21 – Waylon had his surgery today and all went well! He was neutered, had his palate shortened and had a cherry tacked down. He will see the orthopedic specialist in a few weeks to have his front paw evaluated.
7/13/21 – Waylon saw the orthopedic specialist today to have his front right paw deformity evaluated. We will move forward with surgery to attempt to correct this. He ok for the most part but does stumble at times and his changes of severe arthritis are greater without the surgery. He is scheduled to have surgery at the end of August. He will need to wear a splint for six weeks while in recovery. He should be cleared for adoption six weeks after surgery once he is fully healed.
6/18/22 – Waylon has been adopted. Congrats Waylon, Devin and Shareefa!
