2/5/16: Please welcome Warren! He joins us from a local animal shelter. He has a skin infection, mange, allergy issues, a double ear infection, dry eye, he needs his teeth cleaned, his nares widened, his palate shortened and he needs to be neutered.
He is three years old. He likes dogs, cats and children.
Update 3/7/16: Warren had his surgery today and all went well. He had his teeth cleaned, his nares widened, his palate shortened and he was neutered. We are still treating his allergy issues, mange and ear infections.
Update 3/12/16: Warren moved into his foster home today with his new english bulldog foster sister. He does not mind her at all. He will see Dr Rush in two weeks to have his stitches removed and have his ears rechecked. He will see him again in 3-4 weeks to have his mange rechecked.
Update 8/19/16: Warren is mange free! We have started him on Apoquel tp help with itching and he will likely need this for life along with Bravecto to keep the mange mites away (this also covers flea and ticks). His skin is always improving but he will need weekly medicated baths for the foreseeable future. He is also taking soloxine daily for his thyroid and will need this for the remainder of his life. He is getting cyclosporine twice a day for dry eye. His ears are looking great at the moment but we will need to keep a close watch on them. He is a little dominant with the female bullies in his foster home but is fine with the cats.
Update 9/1/16: Warren has been adopted! Congrats Warren, Brenda and Scot!
9/21/18: Warren crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
