Talula – June 28, 2021

8/15/19: Please welcome Talula! She was picked up as a stray by Beford County Animal Control in Tennessee. When no one came looking for her she was pulled from the shelter by New Destiny Dog Rescue and they contacted us because they knew she should be with a breed specific rescue. She needs to be vaccinated, spayed, have a mammary mass removed, have her teeth cleaned, have a few decaying teeth extracted, have her palate shortened and have her tail amputated. She was covered in fleas and had extremely overgrown nails. She has also been diagnosed with dry eye is now on prescription eye drops.

8/19/19: Talula had surgery today and things went ok. We were able to get her spayed and remove the mammary mass, but she was not doing great under anesthesia, so the vet decided it was in her best interest to stop. She will need to have another surgery for her teeth, tail and palate once she is feeling better.

8/21/19: Bloodwork and xrays looked fine for Talula so we went ahead and did her second surgery and all went well!

9/18/19: Talula has been adopted by her foster mom.  Congrats Talula and Veronica!
