Spirit

/26/24 – Please welcome Spirit! Spirit was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by animal control. She needs to be spayed and has a large mammary mass that needs to be removed and sent off to be tested. But she is in heat and has enlarged lymph nodes so we will move forward with surgery in a few weeks.

/22/24 – Spirit was able to have surgery today and all went well. She was spayed, had her teeth cleaned and had the mammary mass removed.

/4/24 – The biopsy results from the mammary mass show that the mass was benign.

/1/24 – We noticed Spirit becomes pretty attached to her people and has started resource guarding them. She met with a trainer and has a plan in place for at home training that her adopter will need to continue working on.  She would do best in a low key home with not too many new people coming and going.
