Sadie Gray – September 17th, 2019

7/29/20: Please welcome Sadie Gray! She joins us from Effingham County Animal Control. She was picked up as a stray and when no one came looking for her she was able to join the rescue. She needs to be spayed, have her teeth cleaned and have a few teeth extracted. We are currently treating a skin infection, an ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. She will have surgery in a few weeks once she is feeling up to it.

8/18/20:  Sadie Gray had her surgery today and all went well.  She had already been spayed. She did have a mass in her belly. It’s probably nothing to worry about but we removed while in there. It was about the size of a pencil eraser and dark purple, we will send it off to be tested to make sure it’s not mast cell or hemangiosarcoma. She had to have eight decaying teeth extracted and the rest of her teeth have been cleaned. She had a larger mass on the right rear leg that we removed too, we will also send this off to be tested.

9/1/20:  Sadie Gray’s mass that we removed from her leg and inside her belly are both bening!

September 17, 2020:  Sadie Gray crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.  Rest In Peace Sadie Gray.
