2/12/25 – Please welcome Rigsby! He was picked up as a stay and turned over to us by the shelter. He appears young and healthy and will have surgery once he gets over his upper respiratory infection that he picked up at the shelter.
2/19/25 – Rigsby had surgery today and all went well! He was neutered, had his palate shortened, hos tonsils removed, his nares widened and his teeth cleaned.

approximate weight: came in at 43 but now up to 50, he still needs to gain a few more pounds
likes dogs: we are not sure yet, he has met a few while on leash but lunges towards them, we hope that with proper slow introduction he will learn to enjoy other dogs
likes cats: we have not seem him around cars
likes kids: we have not seen him around cats
food: Taste of the Wild, Pacific Stream

Likes? Food, snuggling, riding in the car (buckled in)
Dislikes? We have not found any yet
What would be the ideal home for this dog? Perhaps a home with no other pets, a home with a fenced in yard, a companion to hang out, someone to cuddle with, an active owner to go on walks and hikes with, a home that cam work on his manners, training and a routine (he is a bit mischievous and likes to get into things at the moment).
