8/6/20: Please welcome Otis Benjamin! His owners are no longer able to care for him, so they asked us to take him in, get him fixed up and find him a new home. He is up to date on his vaccinations, but he is heartworm positive, he needs to be neutered and have his teeth cleaned. Once he recovers from surgery, he will need to undergo heartworm treatment. He has been diagnosed with dry eye and will be on prescription eye drops for life to treat this.
8/10/20: Otis Benjamin had his surgery today and all went well. He does have some additional potential issues going on with his lower eyelids that will require a consult with the ophthalmologist. He will see the ophthalmologist is two weeks. Once we know exactly what we are facing we will plan accordingly.
9/18/20: Otis Benjamin completed his heartworm treatment and has been cleared for adoption.
9/19/20: Otis Benjamin has been adopted. Congrats Otis Benjamin, Danielle and Josh!
