3/17/22 – Please welcome Nova! Nova was turned over the shelter after he snapped at the teenager in his most recent home. We are told that the teenager used their foot to get him off the couch and Nova reacted. Before this home we are told he was with another family but living outside. He takes a minute to warm up to new people but that is understandable since he has been through a lot of change recently. But once he gets to know you he is loves bully rubs and attention.
We need to get his skin looking and feeling better and treat his ear infection. He has been diagnosed with thyroid issues and will be on lifelong medication for this. We gave him an allergy shot, ear medication and oral antibiotics.
3/21/22 – Nova had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his saccules removed, and his nares widened.
4/8/22 – We are trying another round of medication to clear up Nova’s ear infection but we are hopefully he will be all better in two weeks at his recheck appt.
6/11/22 – Nova has been adopted. Congrats Nova, Daniel and Sarah!
