8/28/13: Meet Moses, a 7 year old male, owner surrender to Athens-Clarke County animal shelter. Moses’s original owner had to be placed in a nursing home and gave Moses to a friend to care for. Unfortunately, the friends landlord had a different idea…Moses was not welcome at his rental property. Moses was surrendered to the shelter where he didn’t stay very long. After taking Zeus to UGA, Stephanie dropped by Animal Control to break out Moses.

He’s now resting at Riverside. He has a small mass near his rectum that will need to be evaluated. He is apparently good with dogs, cats and children. Shelter staff report that he is a very very sweet boy.

Update 9/20/13: Moses is heartworm positive.  He will stay at Riverside for treatment.

Update 11/9/13: Moses finished his heartworm treatment and moved into this foster home.  He is doing great and is now ready for adoption.

Update 1/1/14: Moses has been adopted!  Congrats Moses and Deese family!

Moses crossed over the rainbow bridge.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Rest In Peace Moses
