Misha – July 11th, 2012

Misha is a 6 year old owner surrender that joined GEBR on 11/23/11. Misha, another female (Angel) and a male were owned by an elderly woman suffering from Alzheimers and was probably a hoarder. They also lived with 4 poodles and several unsocialized cats. We don’t know much about Misha. The elderly woman was hospitalized and her daughter had to find homes for all the animals.

She is heartworm negative and is now up to date on shots. She does have two teeth that need to be pulled. Her gums are swollen and slightly infected. After she has her teeth pulled later this week, she will be ready for adoption.

Misha is very very sweet and gets along with other animals.

Update 12/7/11: Misha had four rotten teeth pulled.  Surgery went well and she is doing fine.

Update 12/18/11: Misha was adopted!  She has an English Bulldog brother and little 2 legged brother too!

We had great sadness yesterday as well. Our sweet Misha had a major brain event, from a bleed or another stroke Tuesday night. She was taken to Auburn in very critical condition. She did not survive. Please keep her family: Suzanne, Anthony, Ja’San (her skin brudder) and her fur brudder, Jonathan in your thoughts a prayers. Misha knew more love and care in the eight months she lived with the Monroe’s than anytime in her life.
