10/2/16: Please welcome Gus! He joins us from Montgomery Humane Society. He was a part of an abandonment case; one of the humane officers got a call early one morning about a dog tied to a stop sign. The caller was scared of him so they couldn’t get him loose. The officer that got him instantly fell in love because he’s just so sweet. He ran right up and rolled over for the officer. He was on a 10 day hold for abandonment but no one came forward for him. His tail was so infected when he came in that there was pus oozing around it. They vaccinated and neutered him. We are treating an eye infection but other than that he is looking and feeling great.
He is four years old. He likes dogs and kids but not cats. He will be adopted once he finishes his shelter quarantine.
Update 11/17/16: Gus had tail amputation surgery a few weeks back. All went well, he is fully recovered and has been adopted by his foster family! Congrats Gus and Garrett family!
