Gator – April 9th, 2019

4/14/17:  Please welcome Gator!  This guy was pulled by Okefenokee Humane Society from the shelter in Waycross, Ga. and he made his way to us. Thank for for allowing us to take care of him Okefenokee Humane Society and thank you for giving him a ride Cindy!  He needs to be neutered and have his teeth cleaned.  He has many small and large warts on numerous places on his body.  We are hopeful that we can remove all of them at once with one surgery but we will know more at that time.  He has an upper respiratory infection and will be able to have surgery once that clears up.

He is five years old.  He likes dogs, cats and kids.

Update 4/18/17: Gator had surgery today. He was neutered, he had his teeth cleaned and he had some of the warts removed. There are too many to remove at once. He will have another surgery next week to remove the rest of them. He is very sweet and just wants love and attention.

Update 4/27/17:  Gator had his second surgery today to remove the remaining warts.  All went well and he is recovering at the clinic for the next few days then he will move into his foster home.  He will have his staples removed in two weeks and then he should be cleared for adoption at that time.

Update 5/18:17: Gator packed his bags and moved to AL! Congrats Gator, Tom and Carole!

4/9/19: Gator crossed over the rainbow bridge today. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
