10/23/14: Please welcome Daisy Dukes! Her family fell on hard times and could longer provide for her so we welcomed her into rescue.
She is already spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. We are told she suffers from allergy issues and that she hurt her leg a few months back.
She spent the night with me (Stephanie) last night and she was a little unsure of all the change. But she was quite, slept through the night, ate her breakfast and did not potty in the house.
She is at Dr Rush’s now for a check up. If needed we will take her to see Dr Cross for an ortho consult.
She is four years old. She likes dogs, cats and children.
We will update as we learn more about her.
Update 10/29/14: Daisy Dukes had a consult with Dr Cross today. She does have a torn ligament and she will be having surgery tomorrow to correct it. She will move into her foster home on Friday. She will need to see Dr Cross again in 6-8 weeks for a check up. If all looks good at that time she will be ready for adoption then.
Update 1/17/15: Daisy Dukes has been adopted! Congrats Daisy Dukes, Bruizer, Tricia and Charlie!
Update 11/14/15: Daisy Dukes is back with GEBR. As mush as the family tried to get her and Brewser, GEBR alum, to like each other they do not. Neither dog is happy and it has been decided after much consideration that we need to find Daisy Dukes a new home. We want everybully to be happy!
Update 12/6/15: Daisy Dukes is so happy in her foster home that she is not leaving! Congrats Daisy Dukes, Panzon, Howard and Sandy!
