7/7/19: Please welcome Corona! Her family has a new baby and the baby is allergic to the dogs in the house. The family asked us to find Corona a new home. She is already spayed but appears to have a skin infection, needs to have her palate shortened and has some weakness in her back leg.
7/12/19: Corona had her teeth cleaned and her palate shortened today. All went well! She will see the orthopedic specialist and the ophthalmologist in two weeks.
7/24/19: Corona had a consult with the orthopedic specialist and the ophthalmologist today. She will need to have tibial plateau leveling osteotomy surgery and medial patella luxation correction surgery on her left leg as well as a mass removed from her eyelid.
7/25/19: Corona had her surgery today and all went well! She will see the surgeon in two weeks for a check up and to have her stitches removed then again in another six weeks for her next check up and an xray to make sure she is on the path to recovery. If all goes looks good on her xray she will be cleared for adoption.
8/14/19: Corona has been adopted. Congrats Corona and Nelly!
July 27, 2021 – Corona crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Please keep her family in your thoughts.
