10/24/14: Please welcome Chubby! Chubby came to us from a shelter in SC. Before arriving at the shelter Chubby was living in the back of an SUV with a few other dogs. Her owners did not want to pay the pet deposit at the place they were living so they just let the dogs live in the car.
She is resting at our vets office now. She will get a full check up, vaccinations and she will be spayed. She is underweight but I’m sure her foster parents can help with that when she moves in.
Chubby is between 3-5 years old. She likes dogs. We have not seen her around cats or children.
More info as we learn more about her.
Update 11/24/14: Chubby has a small cherry eye that pops out on occasion. We are trying to treat with eye drops before we do surgery. We will know in two weeks if surgery is the best option. She is loving life in her foster home!
Update 2/8/15: Chubby was adopted by her foster parents this weekend! Congrats Chubby , Noel and Kristin!
January 11, 2023 – Daisy, formally known as Chubby, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Please keep her mom in your thoughts.
