3/29/22 – Please welcome Bo Ling! Bo Ling joins us from Fulton County Animal Control. He has a prolapsed colon and will be having surgery to repair that tomorrow.
3/30/22 – Bo Ling had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his palate shortened and had his colon placed back inside where is belongs. He is currently being held in with “purse string” sutures. They will stay in for a few weeks while we monitor him closely.
4/9/22 – Bo Ling has been pooping, eating it, then throwing up. And he continues to strain to poop. We are trying a few medications and consulting with the specialist.
4/20/22 – Bo Ling saw the specialist today for a colonoscopy. There are no obvious masses or strictures. We are waiting on biopsy results.
5/1/22 – Biopsy results shows histocytic colitis. We are treating with baytril for six to eight weeks and hoping this will help with the straining. Once we know he is on the mend we will remove the “purse string” sutures and hope that his colon stays in place.
8/19/22 – Bo Ling has been adopted. Congratulations Bo Ling and Jessica!
