Caroline – July 23, 2020

8/4/14 – Please welcome Bambi!   She joins us from a local shelter.  She was found as a stray and nobody showed up to claim her. She has a skin infection but other than that she looks good.  She will spend two at the vet in shelter quarantine then she will move into her foster home. Dr Ross believes she is between 2-3 years old.  We do not know if she likes dogs, cats or children.

Update 8/14/14:  Bambi’s back knees look a like odd so she will be seeing Dr Cross for a consult next week.

Update 8/19/14:  Bambi saw Dr Cross and she does not need knee surgery.  She is fine; she just looks a little odd.  We are still treating a tail pocket infection.  We are hopeful that the antibiotics and regular cleaning will keep the infection away.  If not she will have a consult with Dr Rush to see if tail amputation is needed.  She moved into her foster home and if all goes well with her and her foster brother over the next few weeks then she will be adopted by her foster family.

Update 9/17/14:  Bambi has been loving life in her foster home!  She and her foster brother Coney are best friends.  Last night her foster mom Kerry signed the paperwork and made it official.  Congrats Bambi (now Caroline), Coney and Kerry!

July 23, 2020:  Caroline, formally known as Bambi, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today.  Please keep her family in your thoughts.

Rest In Peace Caroline
