6/1/26 – Please welcome Ilona! Ilona was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter. It appears that she has recently given birth to puppies based on the fact that she has milk and vaginal discharge. And we are treating her for a UTI.
6/4/26 – We went ahead and did an ultrasound today to rule out pyometra. She does not have pyometra! We will continue to treat the UTI and give her some time to recover from giving birth to puppies then move forward with her surgery.
7/16/26 – Ilona had her surgery today and all went well! She was spayed, had her palate shortened, her tonsils removed, her nares widened and her teeth cleaned.
