9/24/21 – Please welcome Norma Jean! She was picked up by animal control and turned over to our rescue once her stray hold was up. She was found with another female dog. She needs to have an exam, vaccinations, and surgery. Once she recovers from surgery, she will undergo heartworm treatment over a 3 ½ week period.
9/27/21 – Norma Jean had surgery today and all went well. She was spayed, had her palate shortened, her saccules removed and her nares widened.
10/4/21 – Norma Jean’s spay incision opened up; she had to have another surgery today to close her incision.
10/7/21 – Norma Jean’s incision is not healing properly, we started her on new antibiotics to get her incision infection cleared up.
10/15/21 – Norman Jean is feeling better and started her heartworm treatment today.
10/13/21 – Norma Jean completed her heartworm treatment and has been cleared for adoption.
11/29/21 – Norman Jean has been adapted. Congrats Norma Jean, Trevor and Jeff!
