7/5/21 – Please welcome Isis the Egyptian Goddess! She joins us from a shelter in Alabama. Her most recent family dropped off there today and they reached out to us immediately. We are told she has had two litters of puppies and was spayed one year ago after nearly dying during the delivery of her puppies. Unfortunately, she is heartworm positive and will undergo fast kill heartworm treatment.
7/6/21 – Isis’s bloodwork and heart x-ray appear a little concerning so we will be moving forward with an ultrasound before starting her heartworm treatment.
7/9/21 – Isis’s ultrasound shows that her heart in enlarged but we believe that is strictly from the heartworms and that there are no additional issues with her heart.
7/12/21 – Isis started her heartworm treatment today. She will be cleared for adoption in a few weeks once she completes her fast kill heartworm treatment.
8/4/21 – Isis completed her fast kill heartworm treatment today and has been cleared for adoption. She is settling into her foster home and we are getting to know her personality.
3/18/22 – Isis has been adopted. Congrats Isis and Barber family!
