9/3/15: Please Tobey! He came into rescue with his life long house mate Jezebel. Their parents are divorcing so they decided it was best for them that GEBR find them a new home. He is suffering from ear infections and pretty bad skin infections and he is not neutered. Unfortunately Tobey he is heartworm positive. Once his skin infection clears up he will be neutered; then he can begin his heartworm treatment ten days after that.
Tobey just turned 6 years old last week. He loves others dog and children. He is on the fence about cats. He is a smaller guy and under 45 pounds.
Update 9/24/15: Tobey was neutered today and all went well. Dr Ross did discover he has a very long palate and will need to see Dr Rush for a palate surgery once he recovers from neuter surgery.
Update 10/9/15: Tobey had his palate surgery today and all went well. He is back at his foster home for recovery. He will head back to Dr Ross’s in ten days to begin his heartworm treatment.
Update 11/18/15: Tobey has finished his heartworm treatment. We discovered while he was away at the vet for treatment Jezebel was much happier as an only child. Tobey will be looking for a forever home without Jezebel. His ideal home will have another dog and kids for him to play with. His foster moms say he is the sweetest dog in the world! He loves everyone he meets, including dogs and children. He is very smart and knows his name, sit, stay, off, and come. He is great in the shower/bath, and will wait for you while you are bathing. He will also follow you everywhere.
Update 3/20/16: It’s official…Tobey has been adopted by his foster mom! Congrats Tobey, Frankie and Jessica!
