3/22/16: Please welcome Luci! Luci’s parents got divorced and neither of them wanted to keep her. Then her dad was moving and wasn’t going to take Luci with him so he reached out to see if we could help her. She has not been vaccinated in over two years, she needs to be spayed, she has a horrible double ear infection and an infection on her paws. Her lymph nodes are enlarged so Dr Ross is doing some tests and we should have the results by the end of the week. At this point we think they are enlarged because of the ear infections but we want to be sure it is nothing more. Once we have the results we will move forward with her spay surgery.
She is seven years old. She likes dogs and children but she has never been around cats.
She should be ready for adoption once she recovers from surgery and all of her infections are cleared up.
Update 3/28/16: Luci has her spay surgery and all went well! The results on her lymph nodes testing came back as just being inflamed! She will see Dr Ross again in two weeks to have her staples removed and have her paws and ears rechecked.
Update 5/14/16: Luci has been adopted! Congrats Uno, Luci and Janine! So exciting that two GEBR bullies are getting adopted together!
November 20th, 2017: Luci Mae crossed over the Rainbow Bridge today. Please keep her family in your thoughts. Rest In Peace Luci Mae
