8/14/24 – Please welcome Tonka! Tonka was found as a stray and turned over to us by a rescue in Alabama. He has severe skin and ear infections and is extremely malnourished. He appears to already be neutered, but we will addresses his other surgical needs once he is healthy enough.
12/1/24 – Tonka is happy and healthy and all of his infections are cleared up. He will be having surgery soon.
12/19/24 – Tonka had surgery and all went well. He has his palate shortened, tonsil removed, nares widened, teeth cleaned, three teeth extracted, two oral masses removed, left upper eyelid mass removed, left ear mass removed, and two masses from his back removed.
1/19/25 – The masses that we biopsied both came back benign!
3/18/25 – Tonka saw the orthopedic specialist today. He does have bilateral hip dysplasia, bilateral elbow dysplasia and bilateral stifle synovitis but none of these things need a surgical fix. He is now on joint supplements and had a supply of carprofen in hand if he is hurting at all.
5/11/25 – Tonka has been adopted. Congrats Tonka and Weil family!
