Rosie Dawn

1/26/21 – Please welcome Rosie Dawn! Someone purchased her from craigslist in order to get her into rescue. We do not know her history and she has a few medical things going on that need to be addressed. She has horrible ear infections that have gone untreated for some time. The ear canals are swollen a bit. We are trying steroids to see if we can the swelling to go down some so we can properly treat the ear infections. She is being treated for hookworms. She has been diagnosed with dry eye and is now on prescription eye drops tacrolimus and will be on these for life. We are currently treating her with oral meds for an upper respiratory infection. Once this clears up she will be spayed and have her teeth cleaned and have her palate shortened if needed.

3/2/21 – Rosie Dawn had her surgery today and all went well. She was spayed, had her palate shortened, had her saccules removed and had her teeth cleaned. Unfortunately, her ear infection is not cleared up yet so we will treat this a little longer then she will see the vet again in two weeks for a recheck.

3/18/21 – Rosie Dawn saw the vet today and her ear infection is cleared up. She does still have some swelling in the ear canals so her ears will need to be cleaned regularly and watched closely to prevent future ear infections.  She has been cleared for adoption and will be adopted by her foster family!

4/10/21 – Rossie Dawn has been adopted. Congrats Rosie and Sorrow family!
