Perry

4/14/23 – Please welcome Perry! Perry was found as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter. He will have surgery as soon as his upper respiratory infection clears up.

4/20/23 – Perry had neuter surgery today and all went well.

5/2/23 – Unfortunately Perry had some swelling in his scrotum then fluid that drained out. He now has staples in his neuter incision, is on oral antibiotic and will be on strict crate rest for two weeks.

5/18/23 – Perry got his staples out today and is no longer on restriction. He is a fun boy with puppy energy that is ready to learn, play and run around!

7/1/23 – Perry had a behavior assessment with the trainer and was sent home with a great list of things to work on. This young energetic fella needs some structure but loves to learn! He needs an adopter that is willing to put in the time to train him so that he can be the best version of himself.

8/31/23 – Perry had a consult with the orthopedic specialist last week and it was decided he needed to have TPOL surgery.  He had surgery today and all went well.  He will get his stitches out in two weeks and see the specialist again in six weeks for a follow up visit and x-ray.  Until then he is not enjoying his restriction but is recovering from surgery just fine so far.  We have also decided that he would benefit from prescription medication to help manage his anxiety.

3/1/24 – Perry is doing great but he is still looking for his forever home!

9/1/24 – Perry is doing great in his foster home but still searching for the perfect forever home.  He would do great with someone home during the day so he has someone to keep him company and play with him.
