3/16/26 – Please welcome Papasito! Papasito’s was turned over to us by his owner because she was no longer able to care for him.
3/18 – Papasito had surgery today and all went well! He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his tonsils removed, his nares widened, his teeth cleaned, one tooth extracted and entropion surgery. He has been diagnosed with dry eye and will need life long medication to treat this.

likes cats: we have not seen him around cats
likes kids: he is not living with any but he has spent some time around kids ages 12 and up and does seem to enjoy them.

likes: belly rubs, short walks, naps, being with his people
dislikes: we have not found much that he does not like
ideal home: he a sweet, calm, friendly dog that would do well in a home that would enjoy a low key dog and doesn’t mind the extra slobber from his long tongue that hangs out of the mouth. He would like a home that will give him a lot of love and attention. Before coming to rescue he was only spoken to in Spanish so he understands that but is picking up on English words now.
