8/15/19: Please welcome Nooga! He was picked up as a stray by Chattanooga Humane Education Society and when no one came looking for him he was able to join the rescue. When he was found he was covered in feces and had a large open wound on his head. He needs to be vaccinated, neutered and have his palate shortened, have his saccules removed and have his nostrils widened. We are currently treating him for a skin infection, an ear infection and for mange. Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive too. Once his skin has cleared up, he will have surgery. Once he recovers from surgery, he will begin his heartworm treatment.
8/20/19: Nooga had his surgery today and all went well. He will begin is heartworm treatment in 7-10 days.
8/29/19: Nooga started his heartworm treatment today.
8/26/19: Nooga completed his heartworm treatment today, his mange is gone and he has been cleared for adoption.
11/3/19: Nooga has been adopted. Congrats Nooga and Brown family!
