Maddie

2/6/20: Please welcome Nina Lee! Nina Lee was not getting along with her older sister even with in home training so her owner thought it would be best to find her a new home where she could be happier. She is up to date on her vaccinations and she was spayed two weeks ago.

3/23/20:  Nina Lee, now know as Maddie, has been adopted.  Congrats Maddie, Ian and Toni!

5/15/25:  Maddie is back in rescue and and is looking for a home where she can be the only dog. Unfortunately, she is no longer getting along with her bulldog brother, but gets along great with humans of all ages. She is very adaptable to new environments, loving, loyal, and sweet. She currently lives with a cat, and they do well together. Her next home needs to be one where she’s the only dog so that she can thrive in the best environment for her.

Maddie is happiest when she’s in the company of the people she loves. Her favorite past time is being a couch potato. She enjoys leisurely walks with her humans and walks very well on a leash – she usually walks just under a mile in cooler temps. Belly rubs are her love language. She knows all of the basic commands, and knows them well. She is house trained and crate trained.

Maddie is very healthy and doesn’t have any major issues. She has not needed any breathing surgeries, was spayed as a puppy, and had her tail pocket removed in 2024. She can sometimes get overstimulated, and has come a very long way with separation anxiety.  She’s had a pet insurance policy since she’s young, and we can look into transferring the policy to a new family.
