1/6/22 – Please welcome Moose Shine! Moose’s owner is facing some health issues and asked us to help Moose, and four of her other dogs, to find new homes. He is now up to date on all of his vaccinations, and we are treating a skin infection and ear infection.
1/19/22 – Moose had surgery today. He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his saccules removed, entropion surgery, his teeth cleaned, and one tooth extracted. Unfortunately, a few hours after surgery he was not feeling so great and we discovered a bleeding mass on his spleen. We will need to do an ultrasound to see if the mass has spread.
1/26/22 – Moose had an ultrasound today and we confirmed that the mass has not spread so we will move forward with surgery tomorrow to remove him spleen.
1/27/22 – Moose had surgery today to remove his spleen. We will have the mass tested to confirm if it is malignant or benign. He is on strict rest for the next two weeks while he recovers from surgery.
2/2/22 – Moose’s mass came back benign! He is now cleared for adoption!
3/29/22 – Moose Shine has been adopted. Congrats Moose Shine and Annette!
