Marigold

2/2/24 – Please welcome Marigold! Marigold was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter. She has a horrible infection in her mouth and her bloodwork is abnormal which we hope is just from poor nutrition and the infection in her mouth. We are going to treat with oral medication now, get her on a nutritious food and recheck everything in a few weeks.

2/24/24 – Marigold’s blood work looks great so we will be moving forward with surgery!

2/28/24 – Marigold had surgery today. Her spay went well but we had to remove ten teeth and found a mammary mass that we will send off for biopsy. The vet felt that she was under anesthesia long enough for today so we will need to do another surgery in a few weeks to address her entropion and nares.

3/8/24 – We got the biopsy report back today and the mammary mass is benign!

3/14/24 – Marigold had her second surgery today and all went well. She had entropion surgery on her right lower eye lid and had her nares widened.
