01/28/18: Please welcome Jake! He joins us from Montgomery Humane Society. He was picked up as a stray and when no one came looking for him he joined GEBR. He was recently treated for an upper respiratory infection and neutered. He is heartworm positive and will begin his four week treatment in 10 days.
He is five years old. He likes dogs and young children but we do not know how he feels about cats.
Update 2/10/18: Unfortunately we discovered that Jake is in kidney failure. We decided to put of heartworm treatment for the moment and start him on medication for his kidneys. We will retest him in six weeks to see if the medication is helping.
December 6, 2018: Jake crossed over the rainbow bridge today. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
