11/17/16: Please welcome Irene. She joins us from Clayton Co Animal Control. She was picked up as a stray and when no one came looking for her she was able to join our rescue. Thank you Darlene and Scott for getting her to GEBR safely! She needs to be vaccinated, spayed and have cherry eye surgery. She will be getting all of that done while she is at the clinic for shelter quarantine. She has met the same dog twice and seems to like him but she is a little feisty when she plays. She as not met any cats or young children since being with us.
Update 12/8/16: Irene had her cherry eye surgery and had her teeth cleaned today and all went well. She was diagnosed with dry eye and will need prescription eye drop for life. She will move into her foster home tomorrow.
Update 1/1/17: Irene has recovered from cherry eye surgery and has been cleared for adoption.
Update 1/10/17: Irene has been adopted by her foster mom. Congrats Irene and Rebecca!
