Indiana Jones – September 11th, 2023

9/9/21 – Please welcome Indiana Jones! He joins us from Fulton County Animal Control. He was picked up as a stray and when one came looking for him, he was able to join the rescue. He is an older fella that cannot see or hear very well. He appears to have old scars on his face, flea bites on his ears and a very itchy and smelly skin infection. He has been diagnosed with dry eye, is heartworm positive and he needs to be neutered. He has an irregular heartbeat so we will do an ultrasound in a few days to determine what is going on.

9/15/21 – The ultrasound specialist took as look at Indiana Jones today and confirmed he has an enlarged prostate, and his heart is not in great shape. There are no signs that the prostate is infected, we are thinking it is just enlarged from not being neutered. We will start him on heart medications and postpone surgery for now. We will take another look at his heart in three months after being on the medication and decide where to go from there. For now he will enjoy the good life in his foster home!

8/25/22 – Indiana Jones has been adopted.  Congrats Indiana Jones, Robin and Dave!

September 11, 2023 – Indiana Jones crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Rest in Peace Indiana Jones
