5/11/22 – Please welcome Hamm! He was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter.
5/13/22 – Hamm had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his palate shortened, had his saccules removed and had his nares widened. He has some hair lot and scarring on his skin but no active infection.
6/24/22 – Hamm shook his head a little too hard because of an ear infection that came on quickly and now has a hematoma. We are treating the ear infection and treating the hematoma with steroids in hopes that it will resolve itself, if not we will need to do surgery.
6/30/22 – There was not much improvement on Hamm’s ear flap over the last week, so we went ahead and surgically corrected the hematoma. He sees the vet again in two weeks to have the stiches removed.
7/17/22 – Hamm saw the vet today to have his stitches removed. He looks great and is not cleared for adoption.
7/31/22 – Hamm has been adopted. Congrats Hamm and Childers family!

likes dogs: some dogs, we think he would do ok with a laid-back smaller dog. He spent two months with two larger female dogs, and they did not always get along.
