1/14/24– Please welcome Germany! Germany was picked up by a good samaritan and taken directly to the emergency clinic. She is suffering from vaginal hyperplasia and will need surgery to correct this. She will officially be turned over to the rescue once her stray hold is up.
1/18/24 – Germany had surgery today and all went well. She was spayed and had a vaginal hyperplasia resection. We expect she will make a full recovery but will be on strict crate rest for the next two weeks.
2/1/24 – Germany is now up to date on her vaccinations. She will need to have her teeth cleaned and her airway addressed. We also discovered that she is heartworm positive.
2/22/24 – Germany has surgery today and all went well. She has her palate shortened, her nares widened and her teeth cleaned. She will start her fast fill heartworm treatment in a few weeks.
3/14/24 – Germany started her heartworm treatment today and all is going well so far.
5/8/24 – Germany ahs been adopted. Congrats Germany and Dr McGee!
