Emmett Kelley – August 17th, 2018

Emmett is a 3 year old neutered male who was picked up as a stray in Elbert County.  At some point on his journey he met up with a bad dude who attempted to relieve Emmett of his ear. No worries, our Emmett is a crafty boy and eluded the bad dude with only one puncture wound on his left ear.  Emmett is a sweetheart, wiggle butt who only wants love.  He seems to do well with other dogs and is in general good health.  He’s been at the vet getting evaluated and seems to not have any health problems.  He IS heartworm negative!!!!  He has been brought up to date on vaccines. Since Emmett is a shelter boy, we will never be sure of his history.  We don’t know how he reacts to children but based on our interaction, I doubt that would be an issue.

Update: A fantastic boy with loads of personality. Foster Dad has been taking him everywhere with him…work, Lacrosse practice, etc. Foster Dad is at a loss that Emmett was in a shelter after being picked up as a stray…he’s fantastic, how could anyone walk away from this great boy.

Update: Emmett is going to be adopted by his foster Dad Mike

August 17, 2018:  Emmett crossed over the rainbow bridge today.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.

Rest In Peace Emmett
