Davis

12/23/22 – Please welcome Davis! Davis was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter. He was found with a prolapsed colon and the shelter vet was able to push it back in and secure it with purse string stitches for now. Since coming to us he has been battling GI issues and diarrhea which is likely what caused the colon to prolapse in the beginning. It went in an out on his own over a few weeks.
1/6/23 – Davis had neuter surgery today and all went well but unfortunately as soon as we take the purse string stiches out the colon prolapses.
1/13/23 – The specialist did an ultrasound today to get a better understand of what is causing his GI issues. We will start new medications and a bland diet until he is feeling better.
1/19/23 – The specialist performed a colopexy; his colon was tacked to the abdominal wall to prevent further prolapse.
3/20/23 – Davis has been adopted. Congrats Davis and Rambusch family!
