Breezy

11/2/19: Please welcome Breezy! She was turned over to us by her owners. Apparently, she has been living in the back yard all day for some time now but was able to spend the nights inside the house. She needs to be vaccinated and spayed. She has been diagnosed with dry eye and will start taking daily prescription eye drop. She appears to have a mineral deposit on her eye. She will see the ophthalmologist soon to have it looked at. She has tested positive for Lyme and will be on medication for this over the next few weeks. It appears that she may have recently had a litter of puppies.

11/13/19:  Breezy was spayed today and went well!

11/25/19:  Breezy saw the ophthalmologist today.  Dr Andrew confirmed she does have a mineral deposit.  It does not impair her vision much and there is no anatomic reason for it.  We will try her on a non-steroid eye drop in attempts to reduce the dimensions of the mineral deposit.  We will also switch her dry eye medication from cyclosporine to tacrolimus since it helps more with the pigment.

1/11/20:  Breezy has been adopted.  Congrats Breezy and Young family!
