Luke – May 23rd, 2019

5/20/14: Please welcome Luke!  His owners dropped him off at his vet the other day to be euthanized!  Apparently they could not be bothered with him any longer and they did not want to feed him the prescription dog food that he needs to prevent bladder stones.  He had bladder stone surgery last fall but they chose not to feed him the prescription food since his surgery.

At this time we know that he has a UTI but we are hopeful that is it.  We will check him for stones first and if he is all clear we will move forward with neuter and anything else he may need.

He is four and half years old.  We are told he likes dogs and kids but we do not know if he likes cats.

Update 6/23/14:  Luke’s last urine test came back negative for stones and crystals!  He will be adopted by his foster family soon!

Update 8/2/14:  I think Luke knew the moment he walked into his foster home that he was never going to leave.  His foster family made it official and adopted him.  Congrats Luke, Missy and Niyla.

May 23, 2019:  Luke passed over the Rainbow Bridge today.  Please keep his family in your thoughts.
