Reagan

1/27/26 – Please welcome Reagan!  Reagan was picked up as a stray and turned over to us by the shelter.  He does have a slight heart murmur so we will have that checked out before moving forward with surgery.

2/2/26 – Reagan’s heart ultrasound showed some mild heart disease but nothing concerning and nothing that needs medication at this time.  It is something that will need to be monitored throughout his life.

2/11/26 – Reagan had surgery today and all went well!  He was neutered, had his tonsils removed his nares widened, his teeth cleaned and entropion surgery on his eye lids. Unfortunately, he is heartworm positive so he will need to go through fast kill heartworm treatment in a few week once he recovers from surgery.

3/2/25 – Reagan started his fast kill heartworm treatment today.

3/6/26 – Reagan has been dealing with some GI issues over the past few weeks, so we did an ultrasound and confirmed he has IBD.  We will treat with medication and switch his diet to a new food.

3/25/26 – Reagan finished his fast kill heartworm treatment and is now ready for adoption.

ideal home: He needs someone who is very active who can keep up with him, and spend lots of time with him. He loves to be right beside you at all times. He would also definitely do best with a fenced yard and lots of area to run.
