Tipe

5/30/25 – Please welcome Tipe! Tipe was picked up as a stray by animal control. He did have a registered microchip, the shelter connected with the owner, the owner went to the shelter to get him but once they realized he had some wounds (probably from getting hit by a car) the owner decided he didn’t want him any longer. The shelter did x-rays but did not see anything wrong, then turned him over to us. He does have some “road rash” wounds which we are treating. He also has infected cysts in his paws, a sever skin infection on his neck and chest, sever ear infection and an upper respiratory infection. He has been diagnosed with dry eye and will he will need prescription medication for life to manage this. Once we get all of his infections cleared up and he is feeling better we will move forward with surgery.

6/26/25 – Tipe had surgery today and well went well! He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his right tonsil removed, his nares widened, his teeth cleaned and entropion on upper and lower eye lids. His skin and ear infections are still a work on progress and will likely need lifetime maintenance but he is looking and felling so much better.

10/1/25 – Tipes skin and ears continue to get better with medication, topicals and time. He is officially cleared for adoption but will need continued care and monitoring so that hus infections do not return.
