8/20/24 – Please welcome Bud! Bud’s owner no longer had time for him after having a baby so she asked us to find him a new home.
8/21/24 – Bud had surgery today and all went well. He was neutered, had his palate shortened, his nares widened and his teeth cleaned.
approximate age: 6 – DOB 10/7/17
approximate weight: 36
likes dogs: he lived with another dog before coming to rescue and we are told they got along. He and the dog he is currently living with are still getting to know each other, at times they are good with each other with the baby gate between them and other times they are not so we are taking things slow. We are not sure yet if would like to share is attention with another dog.
likes cats: we have not seen him around cats but are told he is good with them
likes kids: we have not seen him around kids but are told he has been around ones ages 6-12
food: taste of the wild, pacific stream
lifelong medications: potentially anxiety medication, over the counter allergy medication
likes: being with his people, his stuffed lambchop toys, going for walks, car rides
dislikes: sitting for red lights while going for car rides, not being in the same room as his people (even if he can see them from behind a baby gate)
ideal home: he would do best in a home with someone home more then not so that he can be with his people, he would love to sleep in the room or bed with his people, he would probably thrive as an only dog in the home so he does not have to share toys or attention, someone with a little time and patience to help him adjust to him new home and people and get over any separation anxiety he may have
