4/10/23 – Please welcome Tank Williams! One of Tank’s owners has become allergic to him so they asked us to get him the medical attention he needs for his skin issues and find him a new home. He has a skin infection, a double ear infection and he has been diagnosed with dry eye. He is already neutered so hopefully he won’t need any surgery. His vision seems a little bit limited at the moment from untreated dry eye but we are hopefully after some time on dry eye medication this will get better. We also have him on over the counter allergy medication while we get his infection under control.
4/27/23 – Tank had his check up today and unfortunately still has an ear infection and a skin infection. His tear production has gotten better since his initial test so we know the prescription eye drops are helping. We will continue treatment and recheck again in a few weeks.
5/23/23 – Tank had his check up today and things are looking much better! His ear infections have cleared up and skin is looking good. We are going to finish out his current round of oral medication and topical wipes and powder on his chest. His vision is much better but his dry eye levels have stayed about the same since he last test. We are going to switch to a different eye medication and hope for increased tear production as time goes on.
11/9/23 – Tank Williams has been adopted. Congrats Tank Williams and Caitlin!
